Common Admission Test (CAT), is an entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Management for Admissions. The results for the CAT 2010 examinations which were held during the month of October and November, 2010, is announced by the CATIIM and the results are now available online on their official website http://www.catiim.in/.

Candidates who have been appeared for the Common Admission Test 2010 (CAT 2010), of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) can get their results now by following the link given below.

According to the information available in our hands it seems there are eight CAT toppers, and three of them are from Maharashtra alone. Two toppers are from Mumbai while there are one from each of the following cities: Pune, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai and Indore.

Overall, 19 students have scored 99.99 percentile in the Common Admission Tests for 11 IIMS and 150 top business schools.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the management programmes of its seven business schools.

Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) are considered the top business schools in India. All the IIMs are completely autonomous institutes owned and financed by the Central Government of India. In order of establishment, the IIMs are located at Calcutta (Kolkata), Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Lucknow, Kozhikode (Calicut), Indore, and Shillong.

They offer post-graduate courses in management (equivalent to an MBA), fellowship programmes in management (equivalent to PhD), executive MBA and industry based programmes.
